Hasy do you think this could be a no name with the logo added on? I was thinking the same thing when I saw it. It's still a good parts piece for the right price. |

WOW! Was I sleeping or what! I am quite sure this ones a fraud. It's the truss rod cover, the binding, the pickguard shape and -mounting, the bridge studs, all unIbanez... And ofcourse the logo mounting! At least it is OLD Paul |

Hi Freak Yes, the truss rod cover looks not like the original one. Logo: The nails must be smaller, not covering the logo. One thing, i`ve never seen a Les Paul with Metal Logo, the first l.p. series ever was in 1971. The First (or second, when we go back to the fifties) Decals where mounted on the 2020/2030/1910/1915 and some unknown Thinline Jazzy Models and Mosrite Copies. Metal to Decal Logo in only one year. (1969-70) Les Paul: Use you money for the right one, there are so many Fake Ibanez in the German Ebay, also in the US, its unbelieable...... Greets Hasy |

Hi All! My opinion: FAKE!!!!! LesPaul discribed a couple of details that are unlike Ibanez and I fully agree. Watch out, all Ibanez addicts! Ebay gets spoiled with forgeries; they pop up at least 2/3 times on weekly base. If in doubt, please allways ask/check your fellow addicts on this board before you spend a lot of money on a possible fake! By the way: thanks again Hasy for the wonderful days we spent together here in Holland! Kind greetz, Harry |

I have contacted the seller. They seem sincere in their believing they have an Ibanez. My guess is they bought or consigned it like this. Professional polite and fast response by the way. Paul |
