Need help identifying this Les Paul copy. it was made in Japan...I was told it is a "Cpyright" model. No serial #...but looking at the archive pix...I think it is a 2393 Custom. What is this worth??? Thanks, Dan |

this is the best i can do ith the pics ,the one of the back is to large ill try to shrink it and put it up later, the pics are small and hard to see.all the ibanez electronics have been replaced with gibson stuff,500t 496,pots jack and grovers, even a gibson case, ive owned a ton of les pauls, this ones far nicer looking, sounding, playing.i really would have liked to hear it with the ibanez stuff in it though.this thing has amazing flame top too,all solid mahogny with solid maple cap.not even sure if it is an ibanez, hope so,it would be a cool one. |

It's hard to tell from theese pics, but it doesn't look like either of my Ibanez LP's. The spacing of the pots is more like my 1980 Gibbo LP. Tokai,Burny and Greco made LP's more in this style. |

That git looks newer than 1980..doubtful it an Ibanez....Never seen a neckjoint or rounded edges like this on a Japanese build..looks more like a Koren Epiphone to me... |

I have to agree with Dave G. I can't find any Ibanez appointments on this one. So unless it is very thoroughly reworked (including a refin) I'd say that guitar was not born with Ibanez on it's headstock. Looks tasty nevertheless.... Paul |
