Hi all, Bought this LP copy a couple of months ago. Could you please help me to indetify model/year of this guitar. The previous owner claims it was bought new in 1975 and it is original (expect tune-o-matic bridge, but it came with the original one). No serial number, setneck. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b392/ghisi/Lespa.jpg Thanks ! |

Hi Ghisi, Welcome. You have a nice model 2386. It probably is a 1974 or 1975 model. Looks good but it is missing the pickguard. And it has a replacement bridge as you already know. Nice one. Paul |

Thanks Paul. I love the sound and vibe of this guitar. I was planning to buy an epi, but found this one. I knew the pickguard was missing, since it still have the pickguard holes, but the guitar was much cheaper than the epi, so I guess it is OK. By the way, do you know the model of the pickups in this guitar. I loved the sound, really vintage. Cheers. |

The pups look like the stock zebra super70's to me. Maybe the open coil casings are taken off. Hard to tell by this pic. Take 'em out and see if they say super70 on the back if you want to be sure. These kiddo's are very similar(constructionwise)to the beloved Custom Agents. Beats every Epi hands down in my opinion. Paul |
