I'm thinking of buying a guitar that is advertised as a 1975 Ibanez ES-175 lawsuit model. It looks exactly like the 2355M that was produced by Ibanez in Japan during the period, except for one thing. It does not have the Ibanez name on the headstock and it does not have a serial number. The only identifying mark it has it a sticker on the back of the headstock that says "KopyKat". Can this guitar possibly be genuine? Did Ibanez really make any of these guitars without putting the brand name on, or could this possibly be a knockoff of a knockoff. Thanks very much |

Hi John-d If you can get a pic up of the guitar then we may be able to help you. It's hard to visualise without seeing it. One of our members may be able to help you with this one. six |
