Guys, I picked up an Ibanez Silver Series pickguard, with pickups, 3-way, and potentiometers (oh, I also got the bridge!).
So the back of the pickups are marked as "Excel" brand... with a cursive L in Excel. I can provide pictures if needed, but I'm curious if anyone knows if these are the correct pickups for those Strat copies? I'm looking to replace the p/u's in my Challenger.
I don't have any reason not to believe the seller, but I just want to be sure, before I start replacing parts.

I have a Silver series and I have those Excel pickups in mine, too. I'm very sure these are original. |

These pickups are very vintage sounding. Very Strat like (duh!). Nice catch! Nice price, too! |

mine had the eccel pickups in it too.....they looked too cheesy to belong, so i assumed they were notht e right ones....being that all i could find about the name excel was that it was a cheap chinese crap guitar brand.
so i put some dimarzio something or others in it.......to me it sounded a hell of alot better. |
