I’m trying to determine if the tuning machines on a newly acquired pre serial # Ibanez Tele are stock. I have a pre serial # Greco Tele Custom which has the star tuners, but the Ibanez Tele has the conventional machines found on the strats. I’m hoping that someone would let me know what the standards were for the various Ibanez Tele models of that time. Thanks in advance for any assistance. |

Hi Blusne
I have 6 Ibanez Telecasters in my collection and all have just the cheap conventional (non adjustable) tuners.
I don't have any Ibanez "Silver Series" telecaster copies, so I don't know if these were maybe fitted with star tuners.
I have no idea of what was the standard with Greco Teles.
