Here's some guitarporn for ya (well, to me at least....). Left to right: 2650 cherry sunburst, 2650 jet black, 2651 cherry wine, 2651 jet black. All 1977 setneck carved tops.
Anybody got a 2651 tobacco brown sunburst for sale to complete the quintet?

Nice, Paul!!!

Which one is your favourite? In other words: if your house was on fire (may God help to prevent that!) which of these four would you grab first?
(Given the fact that your love-ones are safe and sound outside)

Kind greetz,
Harry

They are all of equal sound, feel and quality I think. No preference altough I really enjoy the CW one.
If I were to take one Ibanez it would be a 2350 wh. Carved top (!) that weighs a ton a screams like a very tired old woman. Not heard a better sounding guitar ever.

Yup. Solid body. Definetly no cavities to be seen around pickup- or control cavities. Weighs about 1 kilo more than my other 2350 models (maple cap????). This does not tell me too much since the weight of 2350 models varies anyway but this one is by far the heaviest one in the house. Also the "tap-behind-the-tailpiece-trick" to find any cavities there makes it seem solid a a rock.
All other specs point out a 2350, including the bolt on neck. It has a K75 serial number on the neckplate.
I'll try to squeeze in my camera to make any identifiable pics.

The catalogue says these models have ebony fretboards. I believe the black 2650 has ebony but the 2650cs and both 2651s have (ebonized?) rosewood fretboards just like all other Ibanez LP models. I am not too familar with different types of wood to tell for sure but at least it looks this way.

Please have a little patience until the next string change Harry. I will try and shoot some pictures then.
