If somebody here gets this one, would he please provide me with some good high-grade pictures? This is the first time I see a 2650 without serial number and with the "open book" headstock! Until now I believed they went in production in 1976. Photo's shall be published in our upcoming Ibanez Identification Book (with the winner's permission, of course) Kind greetz, Harry |

Boy, do I wish I could get one of these! Does the seller say it's only available to Germany bidders? |

THAT is the 1st Ibanez I ever saw. I remember seeing that and the Gibby LP custom black beauty side by side in a shop window not more then 2 miles from Elger company. Me and my friend tried to tell them apart and other then the logo's they looked like identical twins! |

Hey freak, Do you remeber what year you saw it, or what store it was in? The Guy that sold me mine said it had been used as a display in a shop window before he acquired it. |

Yeah, he was a strange pup alright. But how about his mother? Remember her Freak? BTW, I bought my first Ibanez there in 1978. A 2680NT that I still have along with all the hang tags and original hand-written store receipt. js |

JohnS, The auction states shiping to Germany only but I mailed the seller and he will ship at least to me so probably to other places as well. Can't ask now since the seller is not able to reply after 25 october. Do any of you guys see anything fishy on this one? I intend to put down some serious money for this LP clone.... Paul |

Arm wrestle ya for it?! lol, that thing looks great... my black beauty setneck is a 76 I believe and of course doesn't have the open book headstock... I didn't know these existed. By the way, for those who remember this is Aaron and I haven't been on here in a while... new user name too. |

I didn't say I'd win! I'm 6'2 and skinny so I'm going to bet against myself, lol. I'm located in North Carolina. Good to be back, just picked up a "new" one. I'll be sharing pictures of the current guitar stash before long. |

Jeff yeah his mom was weird. I know a buddy of mine who took lessons from him. Clyde took him to see Cream in concert when he was 11 and gave him a hit of acid. But his mom lived until the late 90's and worked in the video store. He still had some 80's guitars hanging in the shop until it closed. |
