Hi guys, what do you think about these one? I was wondering what is a reasonable price for this model , I could not get the statistics in the "form", and I might have one for buying(not this one) cheers emilio http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=1802666&mpre=ht tp%3A//cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D290054436826 |

Emilio: The 1975 catalog calls this the model 2387 Custom (as opposed to the cherry finish, model 2387DX). In the '76 catalog, it's designation was changed to model 2387CT. They are highly sought after by collectors and I've seen anything from $1000 to $1500, on ebay. The one in your link is not all-original. The pups, pup surrounds and bridge (probably the truss rod cover) have been changed. So, the value should be nearer the low-end of the price range. |

I thought the 2387DX only related to the set neck cherry, while the 2387 was bolt on cherry? |

Flatbag: You're right. However, the 1975 catalog only shows/lists the setneck 2387DX. The 1976 catalog lists both the 2387 (bolt-on) and 2387DX (setneck). |

Well that stinks. I emailed them out back on Oct 14th to the address that's linked to your screen name. Is there a different address to send them to or try the same one again? Chris |

Ccs: I didn't get anything. Could be the "global" spam filtering for the ibanezcollectors.com domain grabbed it by accident. Can you try again (same address) and let me know when you send it. I'll look out for it. If it still doesn't make it, I'll contact you with an alternate email. Thanks! |

I was playing mine a few days ago... has Seymore Duncans in it (there when purchased), but sounds amazing!!! Even with mine being refinished and the electronics toyed with, I'd hate to part with it. Very cool guitar, plays quite different from my Les Pauls and Artist (very different feeling neck from those). |

I wonder if the DX and CT have the same neck dimensions, my DX has a way different neck to all my other guitars too. |
