Does anyone know the value of an Ibanez L5-S copy? It has the "soda glass" inlay on the headstock, but no name on top where Gibson normally goes> It"s cherry Sunburst on a flame maple body and neck(rosewood fret board} with all the binding like on a Gibson. The guy says it"s in exc. condition. There are no numbers on it either. He's guessing that it's an Ibanez. Also , how much did something like this list for? Sorry I do'nt have any other information such as the year, or a photo,so maybe you can make a "ball park" guess. I think it would be a model # 2399 based on the guy's description. Thank You, Hal |

Harold, If the guitar has a set-neck (glued-on) go for it! If the guitar has a bolt-on neck buy it if you like it! The guitar is most likely an Ibanez. As far as value: I would consider the current going price for a "Les Paul" copy and base my value on that- give or take a little. Harold |
