I own what I have determined to be a 2616 N Ibanez. It is a fully hollow, dual humbucker, laminated maple jazz guitar in the same shape and size as a Gibson ES-175. This one is natural finish, has dual abalone inlay on each side of the creme binding front and back, a decorative inlay down the center seam in the back, the distinctive star inlays on the fretboard, and all gold hardware. I would appreciate any additional information that someone could help me with on this one. No serial number, so it is difficult to tell the actual date of manufacture. |

Harry: The only info I have is taken from the 1977 Price List: #2616 Jazz Artist Natural Maple $450.00 I see that you had it up for auction on ebay, but pulled it. Did you decide to keep it? |

I had an opportunity to pick up a very nice 1958 Guild T-100 and was going to sell the 2616 to do that. In the end I just could not part with it. Now the permanent collection is increased by 1. |
