I have a B660 Ibanez, 6 string acoustic. It says it's made in Japan. I bought it in the early '80's here in Quebec. This guitar has the headstock style of a Fender, with all keys on one side. It's right handed, the color is more yellowish as opposed to the lighter shades. I was told there were not many made and that Ibanez had been sued for copying Fender. I have had NO luck finding any info on this guitar. Does anyone know anything about this one??? |

Moe, Is this the guitar?? This guitar is from 1976. I have seen a few in pawn shops. They are solid, well built instruments that Ibanez intended for the beginner/intermediate market. They have over 40 different model acoustics in that year alone!! You can date your guitar by the serial number. The Letter stands for the month, and the first two digits represent the year. Regards, Mark |

Sorry Moe, I don't have anything else to tell you. You may get some more info from the german Ibanez page which I think there is a link to from this site. Regards, Mark |
