Hello,
About a year ago I bought a black Ibanez les Paul copy from a friend of a friend. Since I don't know the previous owner, I know virtually nothing about my guitar except that it was manufactured in may 1977 (E770972 on the plate), it has a tremelo ('brass'), inlay in the neck, the body is black with a 'white line' finish on the sides. I'm not an expert, so I can't give any technical details.
Does anybody have information or suggestions where I might find information about my guitar ?

Hello Pim!
Here's another fellow-Dutchman to help you out! Seems the Ibanez-disease is spreading rapidly in the Netherlands......
Anyway: As far as I know Ibanez never produced Les Paul models that were standard equipped with Bigsby-style vibrato units. So most likely the vibrato was put on the guitar later on by some customizer. Maybe you can see some "scars" of the original stop-tailpiece on your guitar? On the other hand: Ibanez made several SG models with a Bigsby-unit, so maybe I just didn't come across a picture of a Les Paul model with a vibrato until now and is there a lack in my knowledge. So I won't immediately exclude the possibility that Ibanez might have produced a Les Paul Bigsby during a short period of time or in a small number. If you want to compare your guitar with a great amount of old Ibanez stuff from various years please go to the site that's specialised in this topic (runned by my Swiss friend Hasy Neuenschwander and I, and with great updates coming soon like old catalogue scans etc.)

Pim, I think you'll find your guitar there. Maybe under the year 1976, because the catalogue of 1977 is not (yet) featured. You're not planning on selling the guitar? ;-)

Hello,
Thank you John and Harry for your reactions. Harry, I checked out the pictures on the web page you recommended and my guitar resembles the posted picture of the black 2350l (lefthanded guitar, although mine is righthanded), except for the fact that mine has this Bigsby vibrato tail and doesn't have the pickup plates as shown on the picture. It is true that my guitar is a customized guitar (it has third humbucker and additional switches) but the Bigsby unit looks original to me. If I can, I'll post a picture of my guitar on the net, first have to make one, so you guys can see for yourself. I would be very proud if my guitar turns out to be quite rare, considering the price I bought it for ($65!!!) !
