I think I've seen this model Identified somewhere...but now I can't recall where (or what web site). Anyone remember the model number and years this thing was made?

Hello Mark! Go to http://www.ibanez-vintage-page.de and find our new updated site! Go to the 1970 section, click on "guitars", scroll the page until you find a double portrait of the guitar 2020 and the bass 2030. Look familiar? The headstock is different, but I guess the bass pictured here above is a few years older and has probably been build in 1968 or 1969. I think that mainly because of the metal Ibanez logo that's on the headstock. Is this bass yours? If yes: congrats! Greetz, Harry |

Thanks Harry! Your site has been a great help once again, keep up the good work. You're right, except for the funky headstock, it looks the same as the 2030 bass. I don't own it, the guy who does wrote me asking what model it is. He lives in South Africa... |

Thanks Mark and Harry for your time. I checked the portrait. Let me know if anyone has anything else to add. Paul Barkley |
