Down the bottom of the page is this guys version of the lawsuit. Is it accurate? Thats what I am asking! |

It's pretty much the way Michael Wright explains it in Guitar Stories, Vol. I. "Settled out of court" may sound like Hoshino paid some damages. But what Michael wrote makes it seem that Hoshino had heard the footsteps at the door and had already changed the headstock shape before the matter ever made it to court.
I wholeheartedly agree that "lawsuit" is, more often than not, used incorrectly. Sometimes you wonder if it's deliberate or not. Probably some of both. |

Yea, i tried to explain to the seller the difference between a set neck and a neck thru...he thanked me , but didn't change the auction..heres his response
"Thank you for the information.. Friend of mine is a sales mgr for a guitar center in my area. He told me that some people refer to a set neck as a neck thru and vice versa. This is the first old Ibanez Gibson I've owned so i guess im learning about the different jargon regarding its construction. Are you an interested buyer or just browsing the bay??" |

Haha, the consumate salesperson.
I was looking really hard for that "lawsuit" on trial.... That dude is nothing but a marketing guy "nice euphamism". |

In the March edition of the UK mag "Guitarist", there's a feature on "Lawsuit" guitars (focusing mainly on Tokai & Ibanez), and in the "Oldies" section, a UK price guide for Aria, Yamaha & Ibanez.
