What do you guys think? I've only found minimal info on the silver series, but if the rest are like this one, I need to buy more.

The serial says B782727, so Feb 1978, the 2727th(?) one of the month.

Dave, your asumptions are correct as to the serial number.

Can I just say you have made Captain Ibanez shed a tear of joy, seems like only yesterday,1978, that I could not keep enough of these on the shelf for sale.....treasure your pride and joy and may it live long and prosper.

The back of the neck is lovely. I also like the fact that it doesn't have one of those wonky truss rod covers a lot of the Japanese Fender copies of the mid 70s did.
