WOW, I'm pretty excited as I finally got a decent replacement for the Byrdland copy I sold Harry last year. DUOH !!! One of those guitars you WISH you had back. But I found a dealer in the States with one in decent shape. This one has no model number on the label, only an odd Ibanez label with the number 4137 hand written on it in ink. The scale is 24 3/4 and I sort of like that - I have big hands and I found the original Byrdland scale too small for me. So this guitar needed a more original tailpiece which I found online - that and some new Gibson gold replacement tuners and it looks great. And once I did a good setup job on it it really sounds sweet. So actually I guess you could call it my thin bodied L5. Here's a photo for your enjoyment... Happy New Year Fellas and Ladies BigMike |

Hi BigMike, That's a beauty. I had one too but I traded it for an amp years ago. I still have and use the amp though ;-) |
