I have a Greco LP " Super real model" with s/n: 2 0033.It has a three peace Mahogany body, a one piece glued in mahogany neck, a really nice ala Pearly Gates flamed maple top. What I don`t have is information about this guitar or Grecos in general. Could someone please fill me in. It is a great guitar and it beats most Gibsons I have tried. Thanks Ulf |

I also own a Greco "Super Real model" LP s/n 0 7795 in cherry sunburst w/all the same features except mine has a two piece body. The previous owner(whom I know very well)replaced the tuners and the pick-ups w/Gibson '57 classics. The hardware is nickel plated.THIS THING ROCKS!!! I have a friend who HATES this guitar because sounds and plays sweeter than his AAA top $3200 Gibson Les Paul(he told me never to tell his wife what I paid for it!).The only info I have is that these guitars were probably made before '75(pre-lawsuit)by Fuji Gen Gakki, maker of many Hoshino/ Ibanez guitars of the same era.I have only seen one other Greco copy in my life(a walnut finished 335 copy)so I would suppose they are pretty rare (at least in the states).NEVER SELL IT!!! |
