Hi John, is that the same one used in a Ibanez AM66 ? if so i might have one somewhere laying around because i use 5/6 way rotary switches instead. so let me know...if its the same... |

Artfield: I don't know about the AM66 switch. That's why I included the pictures of the one I need to replace. I'd have to take the switch out to get any more detailed pictures. If the switch you have is handy and you have a camera, snap some pix of it and send to me via email. I'll take the switch out and compare. |

I had problems with one of those. I removed the switch from the guitar, bent back two of the prongs on the back and disassembled the switch. Cleaned the contacts and it worked fine. You have to be very gentle so as not to bend the contacts away from each other when cleaning with 400 or 600 sand paper. Mine were'nt actually contacts but blades. |
