Well, that's for $100.- Super Grip I knobs; A nickelchrome Gibraltar (I) ($70-120); A nickelchrome Quik Change tail ($25-80); Two original Super 70 coverless pickups with 3 screw adjustment/suspension ($100-170 for the pair); Original NiChrome Velve Tune machineheads ($40-90) And a $10- aftermarket LP pickguard. You do the maths. Ginger |

I did the math and thats if you can get your "high price" on those items, seems alot of these have gone alot cheaper recently from what i can tell, with most of the mentioned parts. jazzz |

That's true indeed. But if you want to make your $300.- guitar original again $340.- extra is about what you need PLUS a lot of patience, because we don't want to pay the maximum price, do we? But there seems to be some competition for this guitar. But now a take a closer look at the bid history, I think bidder w***l is probably a shill bidder. If I were c***o, I would retract that $655 bid and let him have it. Ginger |

well, for me, im happy with a good player, my ar50 with updated parts to my choosing, i dont think at this time, its worth putting one of these together to original specs, vintage parts etc, i see another similar one , starting at around $300, that seems a bit high too, for starting anyway, |
