It does have a handle (JEM monkey grip) just like the M16... and look at the folding butt stock... If it's a fake, someone put some effort into it.

Also, doesn't it look like the case itself is made for the unit? Perhaps adding to its authenticity?

Anyway, it ends in a few minutes and looks like it won't sell.

I seem to remember this bass from somwhere but can't put my finger on it. Hmmmmm. Looks like some in depth searching is in order here.

Did anyone see anything in the Untold Story about this?

CaptainIbanez,Who handled signing Ibanez endoresers and building proptypes in your neck of the woods in the early 90's?

Well as far as endoresee went they never had custom stuff done for them. They were happy with factory issue guitars but set up to there idividual taste.
I'll do some checking on this guitar.

Looks like someone had a epileptic fit with a jig saw on this one

Cappy:

No custom, made to order stuff? You Aussies are easy to please! ("Ello, Ibanez Custom Shop... yeah, I'd like a Bob Weir in the shape of a kangaroo.")

If the story is true, I for one, am glad that Entwistle returned it. Probably would have appealed to Ted Nugent.:-) BTW, wouldn't Entwistle returning it be a negative for the value?
