Hey ICW:s! Scored yesterday! After three years of hunting i got the desired ar500 and was thinking to show you some images. But failed to open them! Can someone help me? how to open images? Have done it before, maybe it`s beacause i was a litle drunk yesterday evening when i selebrated the score?!? Oh, my "wife" isnŽt as happy as I!?! Wonder why? The story! Three years ago i needed a humbucker guitar to broden my tone portfolio and remembered, from back in the late seventies, my friends at that time, brand new ar500. Starting to hunt everywhere, on the bay, every musicstore here in Sweden and all over scandinavia. While hunting (found out that the ibzes is far superir to comparable other famouse humbucker guitars from that era) i found a few other ibzes that i couldn`t resist, one 2680nt in mint condition, one ar300cs from 2004 that i bought new and one ar100nt in nice players condition. Everytime i was thinking, if this one is so good looking and sounding so god i wonder how the ar500 is? And yesterday i found IT! A nice 82`ar500cs in near mint condition, just one litle thrue laquer dent on the top (bummer) and very litle buckle rash on the body. Everything is original (took it apart yesterday and looked everywhere) and the neck is fantastic! Looking forward to try it thrue the Fender super reverb when rehearsing next week!! Holmis63 |

Yeah, i love the colour to. The korean ar300 has almost the same colour and i have to say that the finninsh is as good on that one. But not comparable when it comes to soumd, quality and vibe. The quality of the ar500 is a story of itself. Even in the toggle switch compartment there is a shielding "cup"! Made of aluminium? And every litle sqrew and bit is of highest quality and fits as a "glow". Impressing. |
