AR100 Pup Upgrade

Ha ha. Seriously, why? I'm becoming an OEM Ibanez pickup lover. My DT500CS has a Super 58 in the neck & a V-2 in it (original). I think it's the ULTIMATE combo. The Super 58 is sweeter than honey & the V-2 shreds, for lead work. That said, it depends on what you want it to sound like. Go to Seymour Duncans website & listen to his sound bites. Duncan makes every kind of tone machine you could ever want. My fav pair is the 59er (neck) & Duncan Custom (bridge). But I'm serious, if you do change out, I have empty slots in my parts drawers, and will always adopt spare V-2's. I have tons of new & vintage parts too, (but not much OEM Ibanez), if you need any trade bait for them. Better to buy a another ar equiped with super58:s and have the tonal variaty to experiment around with! Just my opinion. Holmis63
