Hi all, Picked up my latest find a couple of days ago in Sydney Australia. Paid AU$450 (about US410). Played it at a rehearsal last night and pretty happy with the results. Got it as a back up to my Ibanez USCG (to delay the inevitable refretting). Love the colour... it has a nasty ding on the bottom egde near the jack but other wise in great condition. It's also missing the trem arm... oh well. Thanks, Rob |

So I've had this axe for a couple of weeks now and have to say... I'm really impressed...! It's way better than I'd ever expected which is a real bonus. In case you didn't pick it... the hardware is gold. If anyone know how I can get the gold hardware on my 2616 (also posted on this site) replated in Australia, I'd be glad to hear from you. To be honest, I miss the extra 2 frets cause this one has only 22 frets. I also miss the locking nut a bit and don't have a whammy bar either but still really happy with it. After some playing around with the setup, it really is quite fast but still has a sound and feel closer to a strat than my Ibanez USCG so it's good for rockin' out. Lovin' it...! Rob |
