Looks identical to the Studio 50 I bought new way back (Dang, another one that got away). Never heard of a Studio 70, but hey........ We're talking Ibanez here. |

Well, my friend got one ST150(Equiped with eq), i think it is, but that one has maple body and 3 piece maple neck. This one has what looks like a mahogany body and one piece mahogany neck?? Did your one got those maple features to Dave? Or is it those mahogany features that make up the 70 in ST70? |

This looks to be an ST55. Same as an ST50 except it has seperate volume and tone for each pickup ala Gibson SG. Happens to be the best of the STs in my opinion with a mahogany body and set neck...very warm tone. Very rare to find one in mint condition as these were pretty affordable guitars brand new and most have seen a lot of action. Nice catch...I'd buy it if it was in the US. |

Looks like they moved the 3 way toggle to the control cavity and re-labeled the ST55 to ST70...go figure. |
