So, I don't follow all the scoop, but if I had to... I'd say that John 5 left Ibanez for Fender. And in his wake, left his custom shop fiddle on the table. http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-Custom-John-5-Marilyn-Manson-guitar-XLNT-NR_W0QQitemZ 7348084343QQcategoryZ33043QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Anyway... I had a chance to check out his new solo album. It's got a few good songs on it! Yet I'm still not inspired to throw 6,000 dollars on his signed guitar. What is GC smokin'? |

The GCREP listings are usually a joke - you want poor pictures, high prices and scant descriptions that is what you get in a GCREP ad... They can't sell it in the store so they figure put it on eBay and see if they can locate a sucker. I was just looking at an ad for a George Bauer parlor guitar listed by one of the GCREPs... Big |

Yeah, I guess that's the only logical conclusion (looking for a sucker). If they really wanted to move product, they'd start the auctions off with no reserve and a LOW starting bid. Obviously this is not their method of operation. I also wonder if they consider the demographics for such a guitar. |

"you want poor pictures, high prices and scant descriptions that is what you get in a GCREP ad" You forgot to mention beat up. Even the new guitars at GC have battle scars I posted this on in another thread: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7347751926&ssPageName=ST RK:MEWA:IT This guitar is so badly mislabeled, and so overpriced for it's beat up condition. -Sven |
