I have probably an '89- '90 RG 570, (blocky, slanted neck joint...not the newer contoured type) its one of the greatest guitars I've owned...but one time in a rock n roll frenzy I threw it on the floor, flat on its back...and guess what happened? Correctamundo! giant crack under the nut! This is VERY deep (not glueable), thus I need to slap a new neck on it....but I really like the original type on there...any suggestions where I can find something? Please respond by email if possible, Than |

My only thought, (and I own a '89 RG myself) is to either go through a dealer to talk to Ibanez for you or try edromanguitars.com. He can make a reproduction "wizard" neck that is better than the original. (wood quality speaking) He has a pic. of a neck he made for someone on this site, and it really looks nice. Be prepared to pay dearly. I've also see them on Ebay every so often. Just type in Ibanez in the search box. Good Luck. |

There are more reliable builders such as Harperguitars and GuitarWares custom. You can find their links at www.jemsite.com |
