Hey Guys, sorry I have not been around much - I am working the most ungodly schedule - 19 days straight without a day off - Saturday I get 5 days off. While I've been stuck here at work so much I did some real hardcore shopping. I am working on a deal for one more guitar, a Tokai Talbo (cast aluminum body, bolt on) and while searching found this oddity I just had to have. It is a "Gibson" Les Talbo - sort of a cross between a Talbo body and a Les Paul - or as I jokingly said a Les Paul and Pikachu (from Pokemon) mated... LOL Anyway check out the Les Talbo, a really incredibly well made custom guitar - it says Gibson on the headstock (but I didn't buy it thinking it was a Gibson) Gibson tuners, tailpiece, bridge, pickups and custom fitted Gibson flat case. It really scrams and growls like a Les Paul - wonderful neck too... Hope you all are well and having a blast shopping and swapping. BigMike |

Yo, Big~ That is one curiously beautiful instrument. Do you know which Gibson p'ups are in it? Classic 57's, 490's, or Burstbuckers? You KNOW I gotta play that thang! |

489 and 490s. Thanks for calling - you know I still owe you and the family a pizza dinner. |

Big~ Nah, I owe you some quality time sitting in front of a couple of hot tube amps with your new 'Gibson Taboo' screaming on your lap. As soon as this dreary weather breaks, we'll shoot for another Benson-n-pizza fest at my humble abode. I'll break out the Scofield, Blondie (AS200NT) and whatever's available for your driving pleasure. |
