I just bought a used SA160QMAM. Beautiful guitar...but what is the correct method to insert the tremolo arem. It doesn't seem to go all the way in, as it should. Don't want to force anything. It doesn't appear to have been used much before. |

You just push it in. The friction set-screw could be adjusted too far in. There should be a set screw on the back of the tube the arm goes into. You may have to partially insert the arm and tilt the bridge forward to get to it. Loosen the screw with the correct size allen wrench and see if the arm goes in all the way. You can then adjust the screw to set the resistance you want - I like enough so that the arm stays in place when I move it up. -Sven |
