Snowjays: Bingo! Do a search on SB70 and you'll find plenty of pictures that match this one, but with the rest of the wood. I wonder if the upper horn broke off and they reshaped it into a Tele-bumpa-kinda thingy. Pretty cool looking really. When they stripped it, they got some fairly decent grain to work with. I bet it plays great. |

Is this one (which appears just after the reshape) an SB70? http://www.qksrv.net/click-1802666-10381315?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI .dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D7388247434 |

Funkle: Looks like it. Never seen that burgundy/purple finish on one. Can anyone that owns an SB70 offer a report on what it sounds and plays like? |

Hey, Johns... it's the same guitar! Comparing the wood patterns on the top side... (Or is it my eyes?) It's nice when one can trace the "origins" of an instrument... Do you know more about it? |

Freak: I'm 99.99999% sure it's the same guitar. Besides the unique shape, the grain patterns appear identical. I found it by following a link from Ibanezrules.com to: http://www.crossroads-guitar.com/ Here's the other picture of the body from the ebay auction, which ended up selling for $256.00:
