Scanlan: Is this the same one that's on the Ibanez Register? http://www.ibanezregister.com/Gallery/J-Custom/gal-jcust-sc3120nt.htm The first time I saw this model I fell in love with it. See my reply to the "Top 10 Collectible Ibanez Guitars" thread where I include it in my "wish list": http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=12&post=32911#POST32 911 BTW, I own an S3040BS J-Custom. I love it! You can see it here: http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=14&post=23549#POST23 549 |

yes this is mine ;) I purchased it on ebay. it was sold by a german store with this poor photo : http://isaetvince.free.fr/photosv/c3_3.JPG I "accidentaly" won the auction for 893 euros, an there we are ! This one is a pure beauty and plays really well ! Thin body but really thick sound ! I also own a RG1880BGS (almost the same as todays 8570's), but the SC has definitely a better feeling ! you can see all of them on this pic : http://isaetvince.free.fr/photosv/5iba_03.jpg I saw another photo one day on the internet of another one, but the walnut top figure was not beautifull compared to mine http://www.musikhaushorn.de/ibanez-sc3120.jpg I'm really happy with this one, but I've never seen other SC J Customs except these two ones. Your S3040 is really nice too, this is my favorite color for that one :D |

Yes it is mounted with super58s, with the amazing 5way switch wiring : I love the versatility of this configuration ! They are original (the guitar was sold NOS two years ago by an online shop) I won't sell it unless .... unless nothing ! I definitely keep it |
