I already had a look into the catalog-scans at Ibanez Rules, but the only ProLine 1440 I could find was a red one in 1985. The body shape, the hardware, even the stamp in the neck pocket are there, but it is in a stunning pink-metalic! I wanna know: is this a (pro) refinish or a factory custom colour? |

The color is Cherry Ice. The catalogs often do not show all the available colors. Especially the mid-eighties models. Steve |

Thanks for the info Steve, the term Cherry Ice really describes the colour. Let's see if I can upload an image of my ProLine. Unfortunately I got her without the original neck, so I screwed on a Korean EX 350 neck - not of the same quality, I know, but I can at least play her!
