FG: Yes, I have one! It's a 1997 S3040BS J-Custom. Do a search on 3040 to see and read what's on the board about them. J-Customs were the predecessor to the Prestige, only more exclusive. They were made in batches of 12. Here's what Jim Donahue remembers about it: "They made more than 12 for sure, I know we had at least 12 at Hoshino, This was not the most expensive model so probably between 36 to 48 were made. But these guitars did well in Japan so maybe a few more, but not that many more. Sorry I don't have the exact Numbers." They made them in white, also. (I think that's a waste of good mahogany.) These are fantastic playing guitars and beautiful to behold. It very quickly became my #1 player. And that's from an old "vintage" snob. I would definitely buy another one in a heart beat. If you don't want it, email me and lets see if you can get it and send it to NJ. |

Hey Johns, hurry up. The guy was asking 400 Euros. Somebody has already offered that, so I went ahead and offered 410 Euros to keep it, in case you want to have it. So... let me know fast. |
