where can I go to obtain parts for my '81 Artist? Needs a new bridge w/saddles along with volume and tone knobs. The local store just gives me a blank stare when I ask about Ibanez replacement parts, anybody on ICW deal in nos parts? Thanks All!!! |

I don't know what Artist we're talking about, but you could try Orval (Mr. Ibanez). I just visited his new site and saw some NOS parts. Prices were not on the site: http://www.mr-ibanez.com/parts.htm Don't forget to watch the COLLECTION, he's got some really nice 60s models! He's also selling a lot of other good stuff, looks like he's saving for something big. If his (gold) parts are not what you're looking for, then try making pictures of your old parts and upload them. I saw an explanation of how to do this the other day. I'll try to find that thread later. Greetz, Ginger Ale |

Orval, Is that harmonomatic type bridge the type that was used on a Weir 2681? Mine is in pretty average condition. Thanks, James |

the harmonomatics were used before the gibralter and after the nashville style on professionals as well as other models. take a look at mr-ibanez.com parts page, there's a photo there. |
