I am new here. I just won this item for a used ibanez. Can you guys PLEASE take a look at it and tell me if its real?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=016&item=260007873175&rd=1&sspa gename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1#ebayphotohosting He claims he wants a PRS. ALso, he is Chinese (From CA) so not to stereotype anyone as I have a lot of Chinese friends but I just did not read this site until NOW! Also, where can I buy good quality RG 570 necks? Thanks so much! |

You are going to need to post detailed high quality pictures of all critical parts of the guitar before I can give you my opinion on it. I need to see close-ups of the front headstock, back headstock, all numbers, especially the serial number and lettering. The pickup and tremolo routes along with the bottom of the pickups and inside hardware are critical, especially the electronic pockets showing the wiring and pots up close. Lastly the neck and heel joints. Seems like a lot and it is...however with the fakes out now, that’s what I require. If you need the information before you get the guitar, some here might offer an opinion and will certainly be more qualified to comment with less information. |

I agree, we'd need more pictures. It doesn't look like an obvious counterfeit, but the pictures are poor enough to be questionable in their own right. The headstock and locking nuts look correct, from the pictures I've seen. Especially the truss rod cover shape. |
