I have a model S1220WNF that was produced, for some reason, without a truss rod cover on the headstock: http://tinyurl.com/ew6hm ...so I bought a rosewood cover for model S2075FW and installed it: http://tinyurl.com/l5emt Part# 4PT1CRG1RW (I think it was about $15) It was with no small amount of trepidation that I drilled into my guitar, but I was very careful, and it came out fine. I wonder why they built it without a cover, eh. |

Looks cool. aaahh, the drill, say you didn't drill into it Hehe.. I always sorta liked the no truss rod cover look on the Ibanez headstock. Do you think it would accept tung oil to get it a little darker? Looks like a good match tho, and if you didn't have a before pic, I would have believed it was stock. |
