I bought some cocobolo pick up rings for my S1220. They came unfinished, so I sanded them smooth, radiused the top outside edges, lightly stained them with red mahogany, and finished them in clear satin. http://tinyurl.com/hrwpz http://tinyurl.com/flyzw Came out pretty good, eh? |

Zenabi: They look great to me! Can you tell us your source for the cocobolo rings? |

Zenabi: I took the liberty of including your S1220 pictures in this post so everyone can see how great they look: |

Speaking as a former cabinetmaker and finisher... I have to say that wood (including the guitar itself) is gorgeous. |
