I always thought my old Ibanez was mahogany, no? A "set neck" is proper term? I listed it on ebay and don't wish to misrepresent it in any way. Of course, most likely those who are interested will know better then I. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=1802666&mpre=ht tp%3A//cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D230035831721 |

Jvandyke: According to the '81 catalog, it would be a DT400 model which has a tiger Maple top on a Mahogany body. It's pretty hard to confirm that from the one, small picture you have in the auction, tho. |

There should be a web site address in the description to here: http://homepage.mac.com/jvandyke/Destroyer/PhotoAlbum104.html DT400 is what I always thought it was. Pretty sure those were mahagony, just wanted to be sure as my description stated it. "Set neck" is accurate too then I believe. |

Jvandyke: Sorry I didn't see your link to other pictures. Now that I see them, yes it is definitely a tiger maple top on mahogany body, set neck, DT400. It's good that you kept the original Super 70 pickup. I have no idea on the fretboard radius. They didn't usually publish that kind of info in the catalogs back then. Maybe someone who has one can check? My guess would be between 9" and 11". |
