I got an one of these MIJ Prestige SA models last year, and it is a beauty, but I've done a lot of tinkering to get it to my liking.

So far I've had it Pleked, added new tuning machines (Gotoh 510 Locking Deltas) and changed the pickups several times:First I replaced the S1 single coils with Dimarzio Virtual Vintage 2.2. I decided they sounded to thin. So I put in a set of Kinman Avn MKIIs (including the single coil bridge - it looked a little funny) and decided the Kinman's were too aggressive sounding.

I just put in John Suhr V60 LPs in the neck and middle, and a Suhr DSV+ in the bridge. The Suhrs are great pickups. Very pleasing strat sounds. They can go from warm and full to biting and twangy. Suhr has attempted to replicate the best of the hand wound strat pickups from the 60s. The LP stands for "Low Peak". These are not hum canceling, but you can add the Suhr noiseless backplate.

And the DSV+ (stand for "double screw vintage hot") it a great PAF style PU too - bright and compressed, it works well with the V60s.
