I don't know much about these models, but it looks to me as if somebody put a Rodstar neck on some other model's body. Mr. Rodstar and others will be of more help more here. |

Thank you. I have seen it three times so I suppose it was made on a large scale. |

Jazz: Looks like an SB70. Use the Search function in the menu on the left and you'll find lots of info from previous treads. |

It is indead an SB70, the third one in one week. An SB is a hybrid of the BODY of the (setneck) ST (STUDIO) series and the NECK of the (bolt-on) BL (BLAZER) series. Is there a decal on the headstock saying "Custom Made"? First we've seen two or three in many many years, and now three in a week. I think this is pure coincidence. I don't think it was made on a very large scale. You pay $399.- BIN for a good one, case included. These guitars have 3 Sure Grip I knobs, and CAN be used as donor guitars to save an expensive MUSICIAN or ARTIST. But I consider them as affordable real collector pieces. It's the crossroad model of two worlds, the world of the affordable setnecks and the world of the affordable bolt-ons. Historically interesting, although it's not high-end. Ginger |

Oops, did I really type "indead"? That must be a hybrid between "undead" and "indeed", the latest vampire hybrid model... I guess I was thinking of BLADE which was on Dutch television last night.... Ginger |
