It's missing some very hard to find parts. I think the sale price was fair. The Bear |

ANY parts for a ProRock'r are tough to find. It's a design unique to Ibanez, only offered for 2 years, and it's been out of production for 20 years. Sellers will say anything to make a sale. The Bear |

How about this one... It does NOT have the duo-sound switches. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=1802666&mpre=ht tp%3A//cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D290065645613 mk |

According to the 1984 catalog, the RS1300 was NOT equipped with Duo-Sound switching. The 1985 catalog shows it WITH Duo-Sound. My Roadstar spec sheet is in error. K82**** (November) is nothing unusual for an '83 model. The Bear |

MK: The RS1300 does not appear in the '83-84 Roadstar II and Artist catalog. Only the RS1500, RS1400 and RS1000, do. Also, only the RS1400 says it has Duo-sound Super 58s. My L84xxx RS1300 does have the Dou-sound Super 58s. It's a great playing guitar. |

I have a D84 1300 that does not have the duo sound option. The I84 1300 in the referenced auction NOT having duo sound would be consistent with the '84 specs. With Johns 1300 having an L84 serial, its most likely an early '85 as Steve has implied. js |

MK, The K82**** guitar is NOT an RS1300. It's an RS1000. Why would you suspect the neckplate has been changed? The Bear |

I just assumed that Artfield's post was an RS1300 since that's what this thread is about. Based on that assumption, the plate would be wrong. Thanks for clearing that up. mk |

what a steal on that natural rs1300.. it still completely playable with the tuner fixed. and i bet the locking mechanism would be easy to replace. hope that buyer is happy with the new toy, I'm still in love with my rs335. |
