Check out the various Ibby Electrics & Bass that Strung Out in Glasgow, Scotland has in stock - http://www.strungoutguitars.com/index.html Dunno what their delivery policy is regarding National/International etc, but I've had a lot of work done here, and can definitely vouch for them. KotS |

499 pounds is €967.68 + shipping! That's not cheap for an AR100AV if you compare it to Russelw's database: Model No. Description Year Price Condition AR100 Artist 1981 420 9 AR100 Artist 1981 575 8 AR100 Artist (White) 1982 500 9 AR100 Artist 1981 595 8 AR100 Artist (CW) 1982 499 7 AR100 Artist (White) 1982 481 9 AR100 Artist (VB) 1981 450 7 AR100 Artist (Black) SET NECK 198x 549 9 AR100 Artist (CW) 1983 430 8 AR100 Artist (AV) 1980 780 9 AR100 Artist (AV) 1982 668 7 AR100 Artist (CS) 1982 699 8 AR100 Artist (TB) 1981 450 8 AR100 Artist (VB) 1984 599 9 AR100 Artist (White) 198x 435 8 AR100 Artist (AV) 1983 607 0 AR100 Artist (White) 1982 620 9 AR100 Artist (AV) 1981 495 8 AR100 Artist (White) 1980 330 7 AR100 Artist (White) 1982 585 9 AR100 Artist (AV) 1982 456 7 AR100 Artist 1981 611 9 AR100 Artist 1982 404 7 AR100 Artist (WH) 1982 1130 9 AR100 Artist 1984 560 8 AR100 Artist 1981 599 8 AR100 Artist 1982 405 8 AR100 Artist 1980 475 8 AR100 Artist (FR) 1982 465 9 AR100 Artist (WH) 1982 420 8 AR100 Artist 1980 675 9 AR100 Artist 1979 660 9 AR100 Artist 1981 583 9 AR100 Artist 1981 497 9 AR100 Artist 1982 371 8 AR100 Artist 1982 495 9 AR100 Artist 1983 400 8 AR100 Artist 1982 499 9 AR100 Artist 1983 425 9 AR100 Artist 1983 575 9 AR100 Artist 1981 588 9 AR100 Artist 1982 660 9 AR100 Artist 1980 959 9 AR100 Artist 1980 420 7 AR100 Artist 1981 405 7 AR100 Artist 1981 660 9 It has those screaming V2's. So you can expect the same sound as on a ST55, which is a lot cheaper. Personally I'd go for a higher type with Super 80's or something when I'm after a solid Artist. But if the shop is good enough for Prince Charles, (who seems to love second hands) it's good enough for the Board of the Orphanage. Ginger |

The shop is set up and run by two women who braved the all-male guitar tech environment in London and did their apprenticeships in Denmark St in the 90's. A lot of well-known bands use them : Franz Ferdinand, Del Amitri, Snow Patrol, Belle and Sebastian...They did a fab job rewiring and setting upmy Antoria 1912 330 copy...There are however not cheap...But easily the best place in Glasgow to see rare and unusual instruments....Nice people too |
