This is a guitar I bought new in 1985, but I never knew the model #, what can I say I was just a kid that thought it was a cool guitar! I have been surfing the usual Ibanez sites and have not seen a pic that matches it. Also, if you have any ideas on value, I would appreciate it, I am thinking of putting it on the market soon. It has a short stop bridge,Duo sound, IBZ pups and smooth tuner 2's., gold hardware It is in really nice shape and has had no modifications. The serial #H850081. And of course,it plays great!

Jeff: What you have is an AR120. It was the low end of the line in '85. It's lighter than other Artists because it's body is Basswood. Maple, 3 piece neck and Rosewood fretboard. It came in Red and Black. I saw one other for sale on guitarbase. I don't recall how much, though. |

I visited Guitarbase, there was one exactly like it for $450.00. Thanks again. |

It's a little worn, but still a cool '85 AR120BK: http://www.qksrv.net/click-1802666-10381315?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI .dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D7405716984 |
