This is the same seller (a member) that sold the blonde 1978 Challenger for $1978.
Now he's trying to sell a 1983 AR1500 for $1983.

It's like numerology. If you're sensitive for it... I don't know about the price...
The buyer of the Challenger seemed to have regrets.

I value your opinion, Ginger. Whats the right number?! 300's are going for $800+++. A hand made, Custom Ibanez, original case. These two are CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The gold pickups are practically mirrors.

Destroyers are pulling $2500. Double necks are pulling $4000. Neck Thru Rocket Rolls with split blocks are pulling $2000.

Again, Id love your opinion--but I stand by my price. Not many of these left in the world in this shape.

I said I don't know about the price.
But mostly objects are offered for round prices, or just one dollar or one cent below. These two prices were very typical because they match with the years the guitars were built: 1978 and 1983.

(BTW I bought a PIII laptop in 1998 for 1998 Dutch guilders.)

I don't know exactly what the psychological effect is on potential buyers. Maybe some predestination thought is triggered, maybe they think that it was meant to be this way.

It's an interesting phenomenon.
