Aki: Maybe we're little bit off topic in the Studio Series post, so I created a new conversation. I'm not sure whether the Musician Series are Cool contemporary or Vintage & Custom - John? This way or the other - I think I've got the information you're looking for: Your beast should be a MC300NT... Here are the specs I've got in my catalogs - sure there are some missing links (i.e. 79/80 - maybe someone can provide infos on these?), but as far as I can see, the MC350's are different to yours and they seem to appear somewhat after 80/81. Anyway, enjoy the following... Right, my guitar is '78 MC300DS. I thought ash is a bit darker wood than in the top of the NT-version. And seems like by the year '82 MC350 is otherwise the same that the 300 of '78, except for the pu's. Thanks Joerg! I will scan my photos in a few minutes, so if interested, visit: http://www.hut.fi/~arintama/guitar/ And check out the collection of my current guitars and amps. Cheers, -Aki. |
