Since this forum has been a tremendous help in the past I thought I would try another question. I just bought a 1983 Destroyer that I am trying to identify. It is similar to my 1984 DT155 with the triple humbuckers, bound body, and dot inlays, but it has a black/transparent blue flame paint job. The neck is also different than my '84. It's fatter and seems to be of a better quality. The head stock is shaped a little differently, too. Not quite as pointy. It has the lower grade trem with the six screws as opposed to the knife-edge style. Any clue as to what this model is? |

I forgot to mention that the neck has 21 frets. |
