Recently purchased an '85 Pro Line V. Black, bolt on neck, humbuckers. A previous owner replaced trem with a washburn wunderbar. It functions, but I'd like to put it back like it was. Anyone have info on the type of trem that came on it? Also, any other info would be helpful, like type of pick ups, etc. Thanks! Jeff |

Welcome Jeff: The Trem was the Pro Rock'r. The pickups are V5, blade style. They are supposed to be pretty "hot". These were also used on the XV and DT series guitars. I'll post a picture from the '85 catalog tomorrow. |

Thanks John! Looking forward to the pic. Are the pro rock'r trems hard to find? |

Jeff: Here's the picture from the '85 catalog. I really can't tell you anything about the Pro Rock'r. I have very little experience with trem fitted guitars. Hopefully, somebody else will have some further input. |

Hey guys, Need a little assistance. Bought what was supposed to be an '85 Ibanez catalog on eBay, but turned out to be an '86 instead. Any chance someone with an '85 can scan me the pages covering the PR1660? Thanks in advance! Jeff |

The pics the same but heres the info: PR1660-The PR1660 proves that style and substance can make a winning package. It's unique "V" shaped body marks the PR1660 as a true rock n roll classic. It is equiped with 2 newly developed V5 pickups that deliver increased mid range and power. It features a ebony fingerboard and all black hardware(including TEK-GRIP control knobs).Body finish is a newly developed Polar White.Controls-1 vol,1 tone,3-way switch.Oil finished neck for a smooth, natural feel and easy playing.Flat radius fingerboard for clean, rapid fire phrases and easy bending.I can still email the pages in a large printable size if you want but theres not much to them. |

Your a lucky man, never got to see him.Binghamton NY was a little left behind in the '70's but we did get Clapton,Cooper,Frampton,Black Oak Arkansas(my first show)etc..a lot of good memories, except maybe for Tony Orlando and Dawn or Frankie Valli but we won't talk about those shows. |
