Plus,were they also made in Japan???I have a US model that reads: 892319 1726 Winchester Rd. Bensalem PA 19020 U.S.A. How rare are US models to the Japan ones!Or were they all made in the US! Thank You very much for your input!!!! |

all were made in japan, the PA address is just the US connection address. to my knowledge no 80's models were made in the US with the exception of custom shop stuff. mike |

The 540 series were the first Ibanez assembled in the US from 87 - 90 from parts made in Japan. This included the S, R & P. The 540P-11 was a completely different shape to the 540P incidently. Geez, they couldn't have made too many ...I think production of the 'Power' series only went from '87 to '88 before being dropped. Cheers, Mick |
