Hi, Was looking at Icemen on Ebay the other day and saw this wierdo Iceman. Does anybody know anything about it???? |

Mark, this looks like a brand new ICX-120 which was introduced along with the DTX-120(Destroyer) at this years NAMM show. It looks like these are intended to be lower price versions of these two classic Ibanez shapes. Notice that the body is actually a bit smaller than normal. Notice also that the characteristic "hook" in the upper cutaway is not as pronounced as on the fullsize Iceman. The DTX-120 is also smaller and I don't really care for how the DTX-120 came out since I am a hardcore Destroyer fan. You can see these two models in the Musician's Friend catalog where they sell for $249.00. Could this herald the return of the full size Destroyer along with these new "budget" models? Let's hope! Long live the DT-400! |

IMHO they took a unique design and made it more player friendly, not to mention more proportionate. I love the ICX and plan on owning one asap. |
