Hello, I bought this guitar at a shop for €50 (USD50) it had a bad black paint over it. I saw the neck through design and taht it was a quality piece so i bought it anywaw after looking at webs to try to identify it. After finding a similar model at Blueibanez i think it's a 1500. Well its not a beauty anyhow because of the state it is currently but it sounds like million dollars. I wonder do you guys believe that it will ever be a collectable and is it worth to try to repair the bumps at a professional shop? I saw somewhere that it's very rare do anyone have a idea if how many were manufacured? Pictures here, they are highres so if you are downloading with a modem it will take some time. http://www.krans.se/gura/rsii/fram.jpg http://www.krans.se/gura/rsii/bak.jpg http://www.krans.se/gura/rsii/kropp2.jpg http://www.krans.se/gura/rsii/kropp3.jpg Thank you, Kkrans, Sweden |

Cheers, I found one at classifieds. It's a 1500 allright. Meybe not worth so much but it does not matter because it's a nice player together with my AR-100NT from '81 Anyone have one of thiese (1500s)? |

Kkrans, Yup, There were 2 neck-through Roadstar models (RS1400 & RS1500). I can't remember the exact number right now, but approximately 370 of the RS1500's were built. 167 of the RS1400's. I recently sold my RS1500, still have the RS1400. Cheers Steve |
